Indianapolis IN, Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League announced Lansing Michigan as the newest market to be awarded a team.

The Team Market Owner is Pontiac entrepreneur Chris Jackson – Partner at @sticky_ypsi .

Lansing, MI and the surrounding Lansing Region has always had a rich basketball tradition. Not only in it’s programs (Michigan State University) or the players the Lansing area has produced, but the pride the community showcases elevates that tradition.

Lansing Pharaohs owner Chris Jackson believes the community is the most pivotal to any success a city, team, or business sees. He stated, “It starts and ends with community involvement. We have a strong community oriented plan that will be implemented and in partnership with key community partners – programs, I believe we all can experience lasting success with the Lansing Pharaohs.”

The Lansing Pharaohs will begin its inaugural season in April of 2022. The team has yet to announce where home games will be played.

Lansing fits nicely into the current footprint of TBL teams with 2 other markets in Michigan, 3 in Indiana and 2 in Ohio.

TBL starts its 4th year this season on April 9th and all games will be available on TBLTV via www.live.thebasketballleague.net.
