Sam Muldrow (6’ 10”, 33 years old): Veteran power forward, Sam Muldrow, has had an extensive professional basketball career since graduating from South Carolina in 2011. Muldrow has spent time playing for 10+ professional teams across the globe and has made a name for himself due to his stout defense. Muldrow was awarded the SEC Defensive Player of the Year award in 2011 and would go on to have the most blocked shots in the Greek League in 2012 when he was a member of the Aris Basketball Club. Muldrow’s defense has remained a consistent aspect of his game throughout his career as he was named to the All-NBLC Defensive Team in 2018, won the DPOY in the Canadian Elite Basketball League in 2019 while playing for the Windsor Express and followed that season up by leading the Niagara River Lions of the CEBL in blocks in the ‘19-’20 season.
Muhammad El-Amin (6’ 5”, 34 years old): Veteran shooting guard and Lansing product (part of 2005 Holt High School State Championship team), Muhammad El-Amin, has been a heavy scorer his whole life. After two seasons at Lansing Community College El-Amin was awarded Junior-College All American honors and transferred to Stoney Brook where he would immediately make an impact. El-Amin averaged over 15.7 PPG his Junior year at Stoney Brook and 16.7 PPG his senior year. El-Amin still holds the school record for most points in a season after scoring 517 points his senior season as he led the team to their first-ever National Invitation Tournament (NIT) appearance and was named the American East Player of the Year (the first player in school history to achieve that at that time). Following his college career, El-Amin would go on to travel the globe playing professional basketball for 10+ teams. Highlights of El-Amin’s professional career include winning a Hungarian League championship in 2013 and being named to the Greek League A1 All-Import Team in 2015.
Lance Adams (6’ 4”, 24 years old): Young and athletic Flint Native, Lance Adams, is looking to prove himself after graduating from Great Lakes Christian College in 2020 and leaving the school as the leader for 3-point shots made in a career. Adams looks to bring his patented 3 point shot to the guard position for the Pharaohs after spending last season playing down the road for the Flint United of TBL.
Latin Davis (5’ 11”, 26 years old): Latin Davis provides youth to the Pharaoh’s organization as well as a solid ability to score, make plays and defend. The Michigan native led the Milan High School basketball team to a state championship in 2014 and capped off the game with 34 points. Davis would go on to play two seasons at Youngstown State before transferring to Wayne State where he averaged 15 PPG and 3 APG his senior season, respectively.
Maurice Benson (6’ 1”, 37 years old): Veteran guard and Lansing native, Maurice Benson, played college basketball at Lansing Community College for 2 years and then transferred to Indiana Tech from 2004-’06. Benson had an extensive career playing for semi-pro basketball leagues throughout the country such as the Premier Basketball League, Independent Basketball League, as well as many others. Since last playing professional basketball Benson has devoted a majority of his time to coaching/training giving him an extremely sharp mind for the game as well as excellent leadership abilities.
Montrell Little (6’ 5”, 26 years old): Louisville, KY native and Doss High School product, Montrell Little, shows tremendous upside after averaging a whopping 19 PPG for Simmons College of Kentucky during his senior season in 2019-’20. Little spent 1-year playing basketball in Armenia before returning back to the US after receiving a call from the Pharaohs. Little brings great shooting, post moves, handles, and a winning attitude to the Pharaohs for the 2022 season.

Chris Littlejohn (6’ 7”, 24 years old): Detroit native, Chris Littlejohn, brings youth and serious athleticism to the Pharaohs for the upcoming season. Littlejohn spent two years at Jackson Community College before playing a season with the Detroit Cobras of the OBA (Ontario Basketball Association) as well as the Browntown Bears of the MBL (Maximum Basketball League).
Nana Kodom-Ayensu (6’ 6”, 25 years old): Nana Kodom-Ayensu’s basketball career is just starting in many ways as the Illinois native played no competitive basketball until he was spotted in an open-gym scrimmage at Rock Valley Junior College and immediately added to the team. Kodom-Ayensu would later transfer to Grand View Junior College for his second season of college basketball where he would solidify himself as a serious interior threat averaging over 3 offensive rebounds a game and 9.4 PPG in the ‘19-’20 season. After Kodom-Ayensu’s two years of Juco basketball he would go on to play overseas in the Argentina Basketball League for a short stint before returning home to be selected in the first round of the 2022 TBL draft by the Lansing Pharaohs who see a huge upside in this young talent.
D.J. Swift (6’ 2”, 22 years old): Lansing-born, D.J. Swift is the youngest player on the team as the guard just graduated from Monmouth College in 2021 after averaging 14.5 PPG his senior season. Swift is an all-around player with an elite 3 point shot and an ability to control games when the ball is in his hand. Swift finds himself in an excellent opportunity to grow on a Lansing Pharaohs team with steady veteran leadership. Swift was drafted in the second round of the 2022 TBL draft by the Lansing Pharaohs.
Carlton Brundidge (6’ 2”, 28 years old): Michigan native, Carlton Brundidge, put together a solid career at the University of Detroit Mercy where he improved his game season by season and received quality minutes on a competitive UDM squad. Brunbridge averaged 10.5 PPG and 4.1 APG his senior season of college and was awarded the Dave DeBusschere Most Improved Award and the Rashad Phillips Most Courageous Award at the end of the year team banquet.
Rozelle Nix (6’ 11”, 29 years old): Ohio native, Rozelle Nix, played for two years at Pensacola Junior College before making the jump to Pittsburgh University of the ACC making him the only player in Pensacola JC history to transfer to a power 5 school. Nix plays the game like a true center, listed as 300 in college, he became a serious interior threat due to his rebounding ability as well as his ability to score in the post. Nix would go on to play professional basketball in Portugal for 4 years where he would harness his craft and develop into a consistent center averaging in the realm of 10ppg 6rpg while boasting an extremely efficient shooting percentage throughout his time overseas. Rozelle is the cousin of former Michigan State University Basketball player, Derrick Nix.
Maurice Jones (5’ 7”, 31 years old): Saginaw native, Maurice Jones, played two years of college basketball at University of Southern California where he averaged an impressive 11.5ppg, 3.3apg and 1.9 steals per game. Jones would travel back to Michigan to transfer to Northwood University for his last two years of college where he’d go on to average 21ppg and 6apg his senior year and be named first-team all-GLIAC. Jones is a terrific passer, defender and scorer and has had nothing but success in the NBL and CEBL stacking up loads of accolades including the NBL Rookie of the Year award in 2017, NBL Assist Leader in 2017, NBL Steals Leader in 2018 and a 2x member of the NBL All-Playoff Team in 2017 and ‘18. Jones is also no stranger to making deep playoff pushes on various teams he’s played for throughout his career as he led the Saskatchewan Rattlers to a CEBL Championship in 2019. Jones is an extremely dynamic player that brings lots to offer to the Pharaohs.
Ja’myrin Jackson (6’ 5”, 24 years old): Lansing native, Ja’myrin Jackson, is no stranger to playing home games in Don Johnson Fieldhouse after playing high school basketball for Everett. Jackson would leave Everett to go on to play two years for Lansing Community College and then play one season in The Basketball League for the Flint United. Jackson is eager to bring his knowledge of TBL to the Pharaohs, understanding the do’s and dont’s of the league as well as the pace of the game. Jackson is an excellent shooter and athlete with aspirations to one day play in the NBA.
James Johnson (6’ 5”, 29 years old): Saginaw, Mi native, James Johnson, played high school basketball for Heritage High School (Saginaw) before attending Jackson Community College for 2 years. Johnson would go on to travel the globe playing professional basketball in Canada, Spain, Kosovo, Ecuador and Iraq where he established himself as an efficient scorer and 3 point-shooter. Johnson’s extensive basketball history and experience put him in an excellent position to be a leader on and off the court for the Pharaohs throughout their 2022 season.
